1. Who we are

LessonPal Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17318983). We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (registration reference ZC254554). You can contact us at support@lessonpal.co.uk.

2. What we collect

Names and work email addresses, school and role, timetable and absence information that schools put into LessonPal, and usage information about how the app is used.

3. Why we use it

To run absence and cover management for schools, to keep the service secure, and to improve the product.

4. Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that help us run LessonPal:

• Hosting and database: Supabase (EU)
• Email delivery: Resend
• Product analytics: PostHog (EU)

We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

5. Where it is stored

Data is stored in the EU. The schools using LessonPal are the data controllers for their staff's data, and LessonPal acts as their data processor, under a data processing agreement.

6. How long we keep it

We keep a school's data for as long as the school uses LessonPal. If a school stops using LessonPal, we delete its data within 90 days of the contract ending. If you delete your account, we remove your personal details within 30 days. Product analytics session recordings are kept for 90 days.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, and to object to how it is used. To ask, email support@lessonpal.co.uk. To delete your account, see Delete your account.
